Software Features
Maestro has many features. We’ve highlighted some of these below. Please feel free to Contact Us if you do not see a feature – it’s probably in the system.
| CRF Generator |
As the industry continues to migrate to Electronic Data Capture (EDC), less time needs to be spent on the paper versions of forms to get exact layout. Our CRF Generator creates reviewable CRFs for distribution in your review cycle, without all the hassles of making a consistent layout. It also creates forms suitable for paper collection processes if desired. Common choice lists are defined once, so changes to the common choice lists immediately propagate to all uses of that list, accelerating the change process and ensuring high quality. Whether its draft, source documents, or final CRFs, the CRF Generator can create PDF versions to meet your review
of paper. |
| Form Entry |
Maestro uses an intuitive browser-based data entry method that minimizes training and enforces some consistency throughout your set of forms. Questions are contained within sections; multiple sections comprise a CRF. Queries can be quickly observed and corrected right from the data entry screen for pre-programmed queries, without requiring separate pages to resolve queries. Indentation, guidelines, embedded images that use standard HTML that is compatible with common browsers all make for a seamless experience. Both paper and EDC modes
of entry are supported, including 2-pass entry for paper-based processes. |
| Repeating Sections |
We know that some data needs to be collected over multiple time points. Maestro supports a repeating data construct within a form (forms can be repeated too) to allow for blood tests, lab results, or other readings that typically occur over time. More than one table of repeating data can be specified on a CRF, allowing for data to be collected that is consistent with the data your protocol requires. Each row can contain a large number of data points – the owning CRF displays it in tabular format, while entry and editing is done on a detail page. |
| Work Flows |
You’re busy, and don’t need to go searching for things to do. Given your role in the study, Maestro filters the set of tasks within a site or within a subject down to only those needing your attention. Whether you’re a monitor that has answered queries that need to be approved, or an investigator that just wants to know the set of forms requiring signature, our workflow views assist you in tracking tasks that need to be performed in the system. Colors are used in a consistent manner to represent status; this, coupled with workflows makes for a nice “to-do list” approach. |
